Chill. Chill Out Lounge,
hosted by Ash
Kimball, is a two hour showcase of
a new sound that takes you on an exotic musical journey through
ambient, lush grooves designed to refresh, relax and inspire.
About Ash Kimball
Music has always been the driving force in radio host Ash
Kimball’s life. As the former host of # 1 rated radio
shows in Central California and Central Florida, Kimball’s
talents as broadcaster and passion for music and travel make
him the ideal host of Chill Out Lounge.
No stranger to the
music of Europe, it was an 11-month sabbatical to Spain, Portugal
and France that first introduced Kimball to the world of chillout.
“I almost didn't come back to the States," Kimball
says of his journey. "I was fascinated with the food,
the lifestyle, the music! It was amazing!"
Kimball did eventually return, and began hosting a new radio
show that had him traveling across the country to interview
top celebrities, emceeing concerts – even picking up
the occasional acting gig on TV shows, commercials and film.
 In
2004, unable to any longer resist the allure of Europe, Kimball
set out on another sabbatical, one that ultimately led to a
chance encounter with an old friend, who, like Kimball, found
himself irresistibly drawn to the music of chill-out. As fate
would have it, Kimball’s friend was considering
putting together a chillout radio show for US distribution,
but needed just the right host.
And so it began ... Chill Out Lounge.
"The way I look at it," says Kimball, "I’m
the luckiest guy in the business: I’ve not only found
a way to combine my love of music with my wanderlust, but I’ve
been given the opportunity to share my musical discoveries
with others, like me, who are always searching for something
beyond the ordinary.”
